Reddit Assistant (“we”, “our”, or “the extension”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our Chrome extension.

Information We Collect

Locally Stored Data

The following data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome’s storage API:

• User Configuration: Subreddit channels, keywords, and product information you configure
• Post Data: Reddit posts discovered based on your settings
• Generated Replies: AI-generated replies for your review
• Usage Statistics: Local counters for posts found, replies generated, and published

Important: All this data stays on your device and is never uploaded to our servers.

Data Sent to External Services

When you click “Generate Reply”, the following information is sent to our AI service (Cloudflare Workers):

• Post ID: Reddit post identifier
• Post Title: The title of the Reddit post
• Post Content: The content/body of the Reddit post
• Subreddit: The subreddit name
• Product Info: Your configured product information (if provided)

Purpose: This data is used solely to generate contextually relevant replies using AI.
